La Prorrectoría es la unidad de apoyo directo a la gestión del Rector. Es liderada por la Prorrectora. En esta labor deberá velar por el alineamiento y coordinación de las distintas unidades con el proyecto académico de la Universidad, orientando la definición de políticas y articulando los distintos actores de la comunidad universitaria.
With the Artistic Creation Award, the Direction of Arts and Culture of the Vice Presidency for Research seeks to acknowledge an academic for the impact of his or her artistical work and the contribution to the development of the arts in the country.
In this regard, the award aims to recognize a career devoted to the creation of new means for the expression of our times, our culture, and the creation of new ways to contain and affect our era. Recipients are artists whose work and thought have transcended the academic world and have impacted not only the university students but the artistic scenario in the country. Many of them have acquired a name outside of Chile and, with this award, have contributed to position the country in the international arena.
