The Direction for the Arts and Culture (DAC) of the Vice-Presidency for Research at UC is dedicated to promoting and developing research and artistic creation in the faculties particularly involved with artistic creation. It also aims to provide the conditions for members of the UC community to engage directly with art, whether as researchers, creators, co-creators, or audiences, with the purpose of elevating the human condition and leave a better world for future generations.

The Direction for the Arts and Culture will be an organization that brings together the various ways in which art and culture manifest themselves in the UC Community, creating networks and interdisciplinary connections between the actors engaged with artistic endeavors. It will be positioned as the space where all activities aimed at providing promotion and visibility, to a national and/or international level will be coordinated.
